CAPADOCİA
The moonscaped region of Cappadocia, is most famous for its unique geological features called fairy chimneys. The large, cone-like formations were created over time by erosion of the relatively soft volcanic ash around them. Past cultures have dug into them to create dwellings, castles (like Uçhisar) and even entire underground cities like Kaymaklı and Derinkuyu, used as hiding places by early Christians.
Nowadays, Cappadocia is an open-air museum full of unparalleled natural and cultural phemomena.

KONYA
The City of the Whirling Dervishes
There is a saying that almost everybody in Türkiye knows: Travel the world, see Konya! Konya, the place where the first known settlement, the first urbanization and the first animal domestication took place in the world, has been home to various civilizations since Çatalhöyük, one
of the Neolithic Sites on the UNESCO World Heritage List. As the capital of the Seljuk Turks from the 12th to the 13th centuries, it ranks as one of the great cultural centers of Türkiye. During that period of cultural, political and religious growth, the mystic Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi founded a Sufi order known in the West as the Whirling Dervishes. Konya attracts visitors with its amazing kitchen as well as its unique natural and historical richness. Etli Ekmek, a pizza-like dish, is one of the most famous dishes of Turkish cuisine. Its homeland and the best place to taste it is Konya.

PAMUKKALE
Pamukkale has been a tourist destination for more than 2,000 years. Pamukkale is not only a natural wonder, but also a place where you can travel back in time by visiting the ancient city of Hierapolis. The ruins of the baths, the temples, and the other monuments of this Graeco-Roman spa resort await visitors today. In Hierapolis, healing waters, superstition, and faith all intermingled in rituals that developed in connection to the successive local cults and religions.
